The stylish and compact 14VL43U offers a 20-inch, 4:3 LCD screen, an internal NTSC tuner for convenient broadcast-television viewing, and a 640 x 480-resolution picture. It's an EDTV, not a computer monitor--easily moveable and equipped to render vivid images from cable or antenna feeds as well as seamless, flicker-free pictures from progressive-scan DVD players and satellite receivers. Image quality is enhanced by a four-line digital comb filter, a high (400:1) contrast ratio, and impressive peak brightness of 500 candles/square meter. The 14VL43U goes simply from room to room, and you can set the TV on a table or mount it on a wall (using an optional wall bracket).
