Purchased through Amazon from OneCall. Stand is not bad: integrates well with the KDS-XXA2020 series that it was designed for. However, I bought it for the current model KDS-60A3000, as I was unable to find the stand Sony sells for that model (the SU-RS12) anywhere in a timely fashion and my TV was due to be delivered. Turns out the stand works fine for the A3000: size is right and integration is not bad, looks pretty good. The two "dimples" where the feet of the TV were supposed to sit are not usable with the A3000 but it hasn't been hard to keep the TV stable without them.
Main problem is that a major piece was cracked badly despite no visible damage to packaging. Am still waiting for replacement under warranty but assembled it using cracked piece for now.
Construction is par for these generic particle board stands. Feels pretty sturdy though and I'm satisfied in general. One warning: the clearance above the two glass shelves is tight, particularly the upper one (my Def Tech center speaker is too tall to fit on the upper shelf which is the preferred location). Wire management is pretty much non existent, just some notches on the back of the shelves.
Not fabulous but I'd trade that for the pretty tight integration of TV to stand, even with the "wrong" TV. + See Full Customer Review |  |
