With standard-definition TVs, the rule used to be that viewers would feel comfortable watching a set from a distance of 3 to 6 times the screen size in inches. With HDTV, the resolution is so much better that you can sit closer to a larger TV without noticing the pixels. So with HDTVs, the rule tends to be you can sit anywhere from 1.5 to 3 times the screen size (in inches) for the best experience. If you know the size of the room you have already, where you want to sit, and where your new HDTV should go once you get it, you can figure out the size HDTV you should get. Which Samsung LCD HDTV is Right for You?

Rating : - Super TV
We added this TV to our downstairs living space as opposed to the 55" we have in our primary space. It is just perfect. The picture is incredibly crisp and I think overall better than our large unit. As a result it is getting more play time than we expected.

My only complaint has been about the so-called wireless capability. You need to buy a separate USB device and that has been on backorder for 12 weeks since the day it has been released. Also, I cannot find out if I will be able to connect to the TV via wireless and use it as a network display for my laptop.
